Five A Day with Dr. K – How to fight the Crud (click to watch the video)
The colder weather is coming which means spending more time inside and that means we are all going to get some crud. Here are a few tips on how you can be prepared and fight the crud… (watch the video for more great information)!
1. Protect your nasal passages – products like XLEAR Nasal Spray or NurtiBiotic Sinus Nasal Spray with Grapefruit Seed Extract are great options to help clear any nasal congestion and protect against germs; use a humidifier in the room to help keep your nasal passages warm and moist

3. Protein – increase your protein intake and don’t forget the chicken soup – that’s not an old wives' tale

5. Don’t fight the Fever – It is okay to relieve your symptoms so you can sleep and not feel cruddy, but let the fever run its course (a fever is your body’s way of fighting infection)

Bonus Tip #2… Gargle with salt water to help soothe your throat and reduce the level of bacteria and viruses in your mouth. Pro tip: put a drop of Thieves essential oil to make it a little less gross.
